Mascot Beach Resort

We were planning our January 2026 wedding in Kannur from the Netherlands, and the team made everything feel smooth and well organized despite the distance. Sonika was our main contact and handled room assignments, guest arrangements, and custom key and welcome cards with so much patience. She even arranged a draping artist for my guests, so I didn’t have to deal with last-minute requests during the main events. Manikantan took care of our food questions. He sat down with us to understand what we wanted at each event and made sure it was delivered. We’re grateful to the whole Mascot Beach Resort team for making the destination wedding memorable and stress-free. Highly recommended!

Cafe Kaze is lovely and has a Goa-like feel, and the pool gives an infinity effect. Parking was easy to find at the hotel. The rooms are okay, though they need renovation. The staff were polite and courteous. It’s right by the seashore, with an amazing morning view, in the clean and quiet Cantonment area. St Angelo Fort, the Lighthouse, and a cathedral are nearby, and Payaballam Beach is an option for an evening visit.

The staff made a real difference, always friendly and ready to help with a smile. I enjoyed the fresh, flavorful local dishes, especially lunch served on banana leaf, and there are several dining options. My room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, with modern amenities, a very comfortable bed, and a balcony looking out over the Arabian Sea. The resort is right on the beach, with lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere. I had an unforgettable stay at Mascot Beach Resort in Kannur and would happily return.

We planned to stay for two days, but left after just one because we were so unhappy. The location is beautiful, and the resort could have been wonderful, but our room had mold and was extremely below average. The food was below average too, and the restaurant service wasn’t good. The cook didn’t know how to make authentic food. Even after the bathroom was cleaned twice, it kept smelling.
