The cultural show was superb, and the artists performed wholeheartedly. They even provided blankets on a very cold day, plus tea and snacks, and the food was fresh and tasty. Rooms were clean, though hot water was only available in the morning, so we had to adjust. We visited last week after booking online, and I was worried about how it would turn out, but it exceeded my expectations. We arrived late, so staff called to confirm our arrival time. The welcome with music and tikka was lovely, and the kids and everyone else enjoyed it. Our camel ride was complimentary. We’d forgotten about it, but staff reminded us and encouraged us to go. They gave us a phone number and responded quickly whenever we asked for anything. A great experience, highly recommended. Thanks!

They let us check in at 1 PM, even though the stated time was 3 PM, so we didn’t have to wait. We had a good stay at this resort-cum-desert camp in Sam, Jaisalmer. A few items were missing at first, but staff promptly brought everything we requested and were attentive throughout, never refusing anything. They could pay more attention to clearing, though. The food had a decent variety and was good. The evening cultural dance was enjoyable and added to the desert-camp feel. It was a comfortable, pleasant stay and a nice option for experiencing the desert atmosphere with good hospitality.
The rooms and washrooms were in terrible shape, with a broken shower and no proper water supply. We were shown pictures of AC rooms before booking Khamma Ghani Resort in Jaisalmer, but on arrival were told no AC rooms were available. The promised welcome drink and camel safari never came, and even water bottles weren’t provided in the room. The food was extremely poor, and we had stomach problems after eating it. The cultural program lasted only about 30 minutes and wasn’t special. It felt like they cared only about business, not guests. I strongly recommend avoiding this property; the online photos are very misleading.
The food was one of the worst parts of our stay. Dinner was stale and tasted terrible, the breakfast was very poor, and after eating some of us had stomach problems. We told the staff, but they weren’t helpful. Even drinking water wasn’t supplied in the room, so we had to buy bottles separately. After a paid jeep safari, they brought tea and pakoras, but they tasted so bad they were difficult to eat. We’d discussed every detail offline before booking Khamma Ghani Resort during our Jaisalmer trip, but the stay was nothing like promised. The attractive photos they sent on WhatsApp and online, including pictures of AC rooms, didn’t match what we found. When we arrived, we were told there were no AC rooms. The rooms and washrooms were in very poor condition, the bathroom shower was broken, there was no washroom water, and cleanliness and maintenance were disappointing. The welcome drink and camel safari mentioned during booking weren’t provided either. The cultural program lasted only about 40-45 minutes and wasn’t special. Jaisalmer’s sand dunes are known for hospitality and respect, but this place seemed interested only in business, not its guests or their hard-earned money. I strongly advise travelers not to book here.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the local food was especially delicious and hygienic. The resort has a peaceful, pleasant feel with a lovely Rajasthani touch. Staff were polite, helpful, and professional. It’s a great place to relax and spend quality time with family and friends, and I’d definitely recommend it.
