The setting is nice, the staff are good, and the room itself was fine, but the price felt far too high for what we got. During the cultural show, they kept letting people into the room and splitting up the view. The show was only average, and both breakfast and dinner were average too, with too few choices. The activities were a bigger letdown. The jeep driver took us to one spot, said to be ready in 30 minutes, then came back after 25. He didn't do even a few loops or wait for sunset, while other jeep drivers seemed to take several rounds. The canal ride lasted about 100 meters before the operator called it done, and we had to pay extra for a longer ride. Nobody from Melody coordinated it. The bathroom water pressure was so poor I couldn't wash my face properly. They may need to install a pressure pump.

The jeep and camel rides were amazing, and the food was good too. A really nice stay, with very good service and facilities overall.

We went to Melody Moon Desert Camp, Jaisalmer for Diwali, and came away feeling tourists were being taken advantage of. The camel ride stopped within 500 meters, then we were asked for an extra ₹1500 for “other charges.” The Maharaja Swiss Tent was dirty, breakfast was terrible, and the food in general was very poor. The folk music felt dull, and the bonfire was skipped without any notice. Staff showed no respect or hospitality and seemed focused only on money. Rajasthan Government should take strict action against camps like this that exploit tourists.

The food was amazing, the facilities were awesome, and the service was very good. The safari was beyond words. If you're interested in a desert safari and camp, I suggest coming here.

We had a really good stay. The rooms were clean, the staff behaved politely, and the hospitality was excellent. The food tasted good too, and we enjoyed the cultural activities.
