They take full payment at check-in, then don't seem to care about anything. No one answers the phone, and the staff are useless and completely unprofessional. The rooms are filthy, the bathroom is worse, the water supply there isn't proper, and the flush doesn't work. They don't provide water in the room or towels. Really disappointing for a hotel in Kanpur.
I travel a lot with my Photographer’s team, and this was my worst stay ever. For 3200, it wasn't worth a single penny. The drinking water wasn't good, there was no geyser in the bathroom, and neither the TV nor the landline could connect to reception. The room and bathroom were both bad, the furniture was malfunctioning, and the quilts were so thin they felt like just a sheet of cloth. Even the lobby wasn't clean. I wish I could give it zero stars. I didn't expect a hotel like this from OYO.
The place is good for the area, and it has a lift. There was construction going on, with their stuff spread across the gallery. A German shepherd was on the premises, which I didn't consider a good thing, and the landline was disconnected. They do sort out queries quickly if you contact them.
Don't visit this hotel. The room was very bad, and so was the staff.
They don't provide towels or basic amenities, and the bed and blankets all stink. The TV wasn't working and there was no geyser. Staff behavior and service were both very bad, and there were hidden charges. They wouldn't give an original invoice when I asked for one. It's a con hotel, avoid it.
