The owner was kind and cooperative when our train was delayed and we asked to stay an extra hour. The flexible stay setup is a big help too, with 12-hour options and the ability to stay comfortably between trains, even if the next one is 18 hours later. There isn't the usual strict checkout-at-12 rule. Hotel Shree Galaxy is only 350 meters from Gate No. 9 and close to Kanpur Railway Station. Our room was clean and well maintained, from the washroom and hygienic room to the very clean bedsheets. Room service and food were good as well. A handy choice for rail travelers, families, or anyone wanting comfort, cleanliness, and polite staff. Highly recommend it.
2/10
After I extended my stay using deals available through the app, the manager in charge harassed me at the reception desk. I hadn't booked directly with them at the much higher price they wanted for the same room I was already using. The staff's behavior was rude and inappropriate.
2/10
Don't trust the pictures. The hotel is down a very narrow lane, and even getting a car through is difficult. It feels like the hotel from Jab We Met, and isn't a place for families. You can find better choices on the main road.
8/10
A decent low-cost place to stay. The rooms and service are good for the budget.
2/10
The place looked completely different from its photos, and the hygiene was awful. Really bad hotel experience, with unprofessional staff.
