Renai Kappad Beach Resort

The restaurant above reception served tasty breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we were pleased with both the meals and the service. Mr. Shimjth also helped plan and carry out our special occasion just as we wanted. We had lots to do, including bicycles, badminton, cricket, carrom, and TT, and both the lawns and pool were very well kept. There’s ample parking by reception and you can also park in front of a villa. The resort has four villas, each with two ground-floor rooms and two upstairs rooms. The upper rooms have clear sea and beach views, and three villas have ramps giving access to the first floor. Our room was a good size with a large bed, and the big balcony was great for the views and games. It’s right beside the beach, which made it a lovely place for our vacation and special occasion. The bathroom was just okay. Shower pressure was very low, so I had to use a bucket, and hot water wasn’t readily available because it relies on solar energy. Still, our stay at Renai Resort was unforgettable.

The food was only average and didn’t meet expectations, but the rest of our stay was good. We were a group of eight families staying at renai on Jan 17th. The staff welcomed us warmly and were helpful, and our premium rooms were nice. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool, and there were plenty of indoor games and cycles too. Kappad beach is nearby, about a two-minute walk.

There’s a good amount of space for cycling, with bikes for both kids and adults, and the rooms themselves are quite neat. It’s a great beach spot, but the grounds need better upkeep. There was plastic litter in places, and the pool and kids’ play equipment weren’t clean or in proper shape. The old restaurant also needs attention, including better lighting. The food wasn’t great either.

Ayana at reception was very helpful, and the service was prompt and good. The room was neat and clean, and having a sea-view balcony made for a very pleasant stay. The ambience was excellent.
