The staff made an already awful stay even more upsetting. Room attendants and cleaners openly expected tips, then scolded us with rude and abusive words when we didn't pay. They treated us with hostility instead of helping, and I felt helpless, uncomfortable, and completely unvalued as a guest. I booked two rooms expecting a clean, safe place, but both were extremely dirty and unhygienic. The bathrooms hadn't been cleaned, with stains on the walls and in the toilet bowl, and cockroaches flying around the room. It was frightening and disgusting. Then I slipped on the unsafe, slippery bathroom floor and badly injured my leg. I couldn't walk properly for several days, and we had to cancel most of the places we planned to visit. Our happy trip became pain, stress, and disappointment. This hotel caused a physical injury, emotional stress, and a ruined holiday. I strongly do not recommend it. Think carefully before staying here. I'll never return.

Hi friends, my name is Balaji from munnar. My experience: cleanliness, staff service, and amenities, with concrete examples such as fresh pastries at breakfast, a helpful front desk, and a comfortable bed, while keeping the tone balanced, honest, and useful for future travelers. The stay was peaceful and the whole experience was good. While we were checking out, packing took us an extra 10 minutes, and the cleaning crew's incharge behaved slightly harshly and rudely.

There was no clear pricing for tea, coffee, or other services, and the final bill looked like it included overcharges with no explanation. That capped a frustrating three-day stay at Hotel Subhalakshmi Palace, which was a disappointment from the start. The AC didn't work from day one. The refrigerator also wasn't functioning properly, and replacing it after we complained didn't fix the issue. Bathroom water supply was poor and only got fixed after repeated complaints. I would never recommend this hotel.

The granite flooring gives the hotel a neat look. Our double room had a king-size bed, big mirror, small sofa, table, and TV, and the rooms are neat and spacious. The hotel is in the centre of town, with car parking and a good restaurant. Towels and bathing essentials are provided too.
