The Sonnet Ménage

The quiet evenings were a real treat, with hardly any noise after dark, and the morning view is still on our minds. We came to Kausali with our kids and friends to welcome 2019 and get a break from Delhi pollution. We loved spending the day on the big Varanda in the bright sun under a blue sky. In the evening, it was lovely to read by the fireplace in the living area or watch the stars with a live barbeque and Old Monk. The staff were helpful, the home-cooked food was just what we wanted, and the amenities were fantastic for a place like this. Amit was a very good host, and Sonnet Menage is a cosy place that helped us leave the city stress behind.

The valley view from the big balcony is beautiful, and we spent hours there watching the sunrise and listening to birds and animals. It felt like being right in nature. Mall road, Kasauli is about a 10-minute walk away, and the homestay is warm, cosy, luxurious, and reasonably priced. We stayed one night, and it would suit a family of 6-7. The interiors are classy and the rooms clean. There’s wifi, a bluetooth speaker, barbeque, fireplace, LED TV, and a helper, Kuldeep, in the house 24x7. Tea or meals can be served anytime, and his hospitality was amazing.

We had a memorable time here. It feels like being at home in a 2bhk apartment, and helpers can take care of kitchen work and cook to your requirements. The service was impressive, and it’s a good option for a family outing. Thank you for the lovely service.

The caretakers' warm hospitality made us feel at home. Set among pine trees and woods, this is a peaceful getaway in the heart of Kasauli, yet it feels isolated. A perfect place for 4-6 people.
