The food was terrible and expensive compared with nearby stays, and there was no good view because the property is surrounded by other buildings. The lawn was very dirty, and the attendant refused to give me the WiFi password, claiming the internet was down even though the WiFi showed full signal. The room lacked basic items like a mirror, chair, place to hang clothes, almera, and dustbin. The bath mug was old and dirty, and there was no stool in the bathroom. Even free sarais at gurudwaras have more amenities. Getting there is also a hassle: it’s almost half a kilometer from parking through narrow hillside lanes and stairs. I’d suggest paying more and staying somewhere else.

It’s an affordable spot for a peaceful break, and the scenery is beautiful. You can hear the water flowing below the hills, which gives the place a serene feel. Sagar Bhai was very helpful and put together a detailed itinerary for exploring Kausal. Room service from the ever-helpful Nepali Bhaiya was excellent. The only small issue was the dim lighting in the room.

I had a fine stay at one of the better places near kasol. The staff were good and cooperative.

It’s a budget-friendly place about ten minutes from Kasol City. I had a good stay overall, though the staff were just okay.
