Majestic Mountain Bhaiji Guest House

We arrived in Kasol later than planned because of bad traffic, and the owner really saved us. It was quite a walk at night, so he sent a few of his guys to meet us at the main road. The hospitality was to the moon, and we felt so welcome. The rooms were spacious and amazing, with that cabin-in-the-woods feeling. The food was SUPER good too, and the spectacular morning views make sense once you see how far in it is. If you like places off the beaten track, this is for you. There’s lots to see and do, with neighbouring stays and restaurants nearby. Highly highly recommend it if you're around, and we’ll definitely come back!

We spent five days here and had a wonderful stay. The place is economical and good value, with clean, spacious, well-maintained rooms and prompt housekeeping. Staff were polite and attentive. The owner and manager are warm, kind, and ready to help, and their hospitality made us feel comfortable. The calm, quiet atmosphere is lovely for unwinding and enjoying nature. The in-house cook makes tasty, homely food, so we didn't need to go out for meals. There was a strong bad smell from the bathroom in our first room during the first three days, and it spread into the room. They provided room freshener, but it didn't solve it. It seemed management already knew and was working on the issue. We later moved rooms because of prior bookings, and the new room didn't have that smell. If you're bringing heavy luggage, it's helpful to book a porter. The manager can arrange one for ₹100 per suitcase, which is reasonable.

The owner, Preetam bhai ji, is a very nice person, and the staff are warm and cooperative. We had a great stay in a clean room at a peaceful spot with lovely mountain views. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.

We arrived in Katagala at 6:00 AM, and Mr. Lui kindly let us check in early after our journey. It made a real difference for my family and me. The staff were polite, humble, and attentive throughout, and the location has a perfect view that made the stay relaxing and memorable. Wonderful experience in Katagala.
