Pinewood Inn Kasol

We only stayed one night, but it was one of my best experiences in India. Ankita treated us like family and old friends, and the place felt like home. She’d picked up some friends and me, and in chatting we found out she ran a guest house. The room and view were incredible. I’d absolutely recommend it if you want a genuine place run by genuine people.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The hotel was really nice, and the whole Kasol stay felt just like home. I’d love to return!

I’ve visited Kasol a couple of times, but I’ve never had service this poor. The room was freezing, with nothing provided: no kettle, towels, or toiletries, even after we asked. The man at reception was rude and didn’t know how to speak to guests. They also charged extra for basic items like a heater, and that heater barely worked. Such a disappointing experience!

We were a group of 11 friends and stayed one night. The rooms were clean, the place was great, and the food service was the best. I’d suggest booking here if you’re heading to Kasol or Kullu.
