Hotel Sundram

For a reasonable price, you get a basic place where you can spend the night, but don’t expect anything fancy. The staff are quite irritating. They switched off the geyser in the morning and kept us waiting for hours. Their pick and drop service is the best part, and they tried hard to make things available at very reasonable prices. If you want to save money and can accept some compromises, you could choose this place. There’s plenty of room to bargain on the facilities, so don’t hesitate to use your bargaining skills. 😉😉

The water, lights, and Wi-Fi seemed to work only when they felt like it, and the balcony was dirty. Staff were drunk and uncultured, while management was uncooperative. I felt they looked at pilgrims as walking ATMs. The service was the worst I've had in any hotel, and it doesn't deserve even one star. We stayed because our trip was arranged through a travel agency. If you're traveling independently, please take this experience seriously before choosing this place, or you may end up writing the same review. The IRCTC Guest House in Katra is much better, though it isn't nearby. Jai Mata Di.

They said the cab would be free, then charged us for it when we checked out. The room also cost more than the amount the hotel staff had quoted us at the start. It was a bad experience.

The bathrooms and bedsheets were really dirty, and they misled us about the facilities. The driver and manager were both rude and had no manners when speaking to us. I won't recommend anyone stay here.
