This stay left a bad mark on my beautiful Maa Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. Some people work hard for Katra’s name, while others like these are ruining the city’s image. The staff behaved terribly and didn’t know how to speak to customers. In room no 206, the geyser wasn’t working and all the buttons were broken. When I complained, the receptionist rudely said that for a thousand rupees I couldn’t afford so many facilities, and should go to a five star hotel if I wanted a geyser. I checked out within a few minutes of checking in, and he refused to refund my money, acting like a hooligan. Don’t waste your money on this unhygienic, scrap hotel. If you’re paying for a place to stay, choose somewhere peaceful with working facilities, good hygiene and positive, well behaved staff.

The sheets weren’t changed, the rooms were poorly cleaned, and there weren’t even bathroom slippers. They first promised free pickup and drop at Banganga, then changed the terms after payment. I also felt the hotel had a setup to get money from guests. They dropped us outside a shop at Banganga, and as soon as we got out, the shopkeeper pushed us to buy items that were useless for darshan. I paid about 400 rupees for them after the hotel person convinced me to buy. These people are looting the public in Mata’s name. Be aware, and book directly through the mata vaishno app.

It was really inconvenient staying here, and there are many better hotels. The staff and other people working there were very rude. The equipment didn’t work properly, and the hotel made my whole experience horrible.

I left after just 1 hour because the room was unacceptable, with a damp wall and an unclean bathroom. There was no electricity backup either. I’m still fighting Oyo for a refund. Even after I sent all the screenshots as proof, they haven’t returned my hard earned money. Shame on Oyo.

The hotel didn’t give me the room I’d booked or provide all the facilities. The staff were extremely rude. I never expected such bad service from Oyo. It was a terrible experience, and I want my refund. I wouldn’t recommend staying with Oyo.
