Clarks Khajuraho

There was a strange smell in the room, and the walls had damp patches and cracks. The electric kettles were in terrible shape, dirty and rusty, so they shouldn’t be used. The hotel environment was good, but these problems need fixing. Please replace the kettles with glass ones and offer a mild fragrance option for the rooms.

We spent two nights at Clarks Hotel, and the stay was extremely disappointing. The staff wouldn’t provide even a basic service like a bonfire, and gave no reasonable explanation. The rooms also weren’t properly cleaned or sanitized, with basic hygiene clearly lacking. At this price, that’s unacceptable, and the property is nowhere near the 5-star hotel it claims to be. The cleanliness, service, and guest experience all fell far short. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, professionalism, or value for money.

The hotel campus is huge, and the fruit backyard, flowers, birds, and other natural touches make it beautiful. Its swimming pool was one of the cleanest we’ve seen in quite some time. It’s also near the Khajuraho temples, which makes the location ideal for tourists. We were impressed by the ambience, luxurious rooms, food quality, property, location, service, and the overall standard. The staff were very polite and gave us all the help we needed.

We enjoyed walking around the property and the surrounding area during our pleasant stay at Clarks Inn Khajuraho, India, from Sept 28th to October 1st, 2025. The ambience was very pleasant, the food was good, and the staff were attentive. On our last day, Mr S Patel, the floor manager in the breakfast room, came over to greet us, and we had a very pleasant chat. I highly recommend this hotel to future tourists visiting Khajuraho. Best wishes to the staff. Renu/Ramesh Kumar, USA
