Hotel Isabel Palace

The service was the best part, especially from Surendra and Ravinder Pal, who were warm and cooperative. The rooms and toilets are kept well, with foreign tourists often staying here. We had a great stay. Choose one of the suites if you can, they're very spacious and have balconies. This hotel is much better than staying in a four-star hotel.

At Hotel Isabel, the care from the staff felt personal and heartfelt. They went well beyond their duties and made me feel valued as a person, not just a guest. I especially want to recognize desk manager Surendra Rajak for his warmth, professionalism, and commitment to making my stay comfortable. He represents the humanity in service that makes the hotel special. Thank you for making the place feel both luxurious and welcoming. I had an outstanding stay, will recommend Hotel Isabel, and look forward to visiting again.

Room service was fast, and the room itself was fine. The TV had no remote, though, and while the heater worked well, its casing looked somewhat burnt. On checkout day, they also didn't provide the complimentary water bottle.

The staff were polite and so helpful, they couldn't do enough for us during our stay. The hotel is generally clean and well organised for a budget place, and breakfast was plentiful and adequate. It's a few minutes from the airport, and a short drive from the temple sites and town centre. Khajuraho was fantastic to visit, with its temples, town, shops, and restaurants. A local agency representative also took us to the original town, which was great to see beyond the tourist area. Well worth the visit.
