We were very happy with our week here, and George and his wife are great people. The location is good, on a street without much traffic. Room 303 had enough space for the two of us to do yoga around the bed. There was an extra single bed at first, but George removed it without any fuss. The 100% cotton sheets were lovely, with a top sheet already on the bed. The bathroom was big, and the shower was tucked into the far corner so it didn't soak the whole room. The AC worked well, the fan was fairly quiet, and mosquito screens on every window were a big plus in mosquito-filled Kochi. There’s a small kitchen with only a little fridge. We had brought a good knife and bowls, then bought a chopping board so we could enjoy fresh Kerala fruit each morning. We also found Aryaas Hotel, a very clean, inexpensive local restaurant about 300-400m away, serving excellent fresh vegetarian food. The interior walls could use a coat of paint.

George was friendly and accommodating throughout. He arranged for someone to pick up and wash our laundry, and when we left an item behind, he even mailed it to our next hotel. The rooms are very clean and spacious, with a fridge and small kitchenette if needed. Most places in fort Kochi are within walking distance. It’s a lovely homestay, and I’d absolutely recommend it. George and his family were warm, kind and helped us with everything we needed. The location is great, just a few minutes from the center of Fort kochi. The rooms are standard and had what we needed. I recommend it.

This was the worst stay I've had. I felt suffocated and started vomiting, so I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. There was mold all over the washroom. The hot water was shut off while I was showering, so I had to get out and call the owner. He said he thought we were finished.
