Mare Blu Resort has a quiet, pleasant outdoor atmosphere and plenty of parking. It's also very close to Cherai Beach, which was the biggest convenience for us. There are a few things that could be better. Our room wasn't as clean as it could have been, and the bathroom had no exhaust fan, which felt uncomfortable. Breakfast choices were limited, and the property seemed a bit understaffed, so service could have been quicker and more attentive. There also aren't many vegetarian restaurants nearby, something vegetarian travelers may want to consider. The location and ambience give the resort potential, but better upkeep and service would improve the stay.

The stay itself was hassle-free, but the villa bathroom was disappointing. Given the high New Year price, the facilities didn't feel up to standard, and there were no dining facilities. It was okay for a basic stay, but not a place I'd recommend to fussy travelers or anyone expecting real luxury. The experience was underwhelming overall.

We chose this place because it allowed us to bring our dog. The location is quiet and relaxing, away from the crowds in the main areas, and the rooms were spacious enough for four of us. Maintenance could use improvement. They don't serve food, but nearby restaurants are within walking distance.

The room was fairly clean, but the bathroom needed a lot of work. We were given just one towel for two people and had to ask for another. There was no intercom to call reception, either. Breakfast was chickpea curry and something between a dosa and a puri.

MareBlu beach Resort is a neat, affordable place where both families and bachelors can stay, and it doesn't feel isolated since other resorts and restaurants are nearby. The beach is clean and directly across the road, and it's open at night too. There are activities around, including beach kayaking, a floating bridge, and speedboats.
