OYO 15023 Home Comfort Stay Fort Kochi Beach

The location was good, but the stay didn't meet what I expect from a BnB. We were only there for one night. The dining area was warm, and neither the fan nor the AC worked there. The central AC didn't work either, and switching on the badly maintained AC in the master bedroom gave us a dust allergy. A bedroom toilet flush kept running and never worked properly. The living area looked nicely decorated for the photos, at least. We had to ask for a microwave, which they arranged at the last minute. The kitchen was short on bowls, and the plates needed rewashing.

Fort Beach Service Apartments was a fantastic stay for us. The furnished three-bedroom apartment had everything we needed, and all three rooms had great views. We caught some lovely sunsets there. The spot is right across from the Fort Kochi boat jetty, which makes getting people and vehicles across to the other side of Kochi easy. Hotel Cochin Fort is just opposite too, handy for a drink after a long day. The kitchen was well equipped, though I'd suggest ordering food from outside to try the local cuisine. Wi-Fi was very fast, and the host went out of their way to arrange a two-wheeler rental so we could explore. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, convenient stay in Fort Kochi. Thanks to the host for making it memorable.

We got the whole three-room apartment for a lower rate because it wasn't peak season. The rooms were very clean and nicely arranged, and the service apartment was really good. The kitchen also had the essential utensils and a gas connection.

I booked through Expedia for three nights based on the reviews, but the place was dirty and felt shady. There were empty beer bottles and cigarette packets around the compound. We arrived at night with our family, and no one was there to help or answer my calls. The lady's listed phone never responded. I was scared staying there with my five-year-old, but we had no other option. The rooms were dirty and smelled bad, and the towels were filthy. There was no shampoo and barely any soap. Plumbing problems left a foul smell coming from the bathrooms. They charged extra for an additional guest but provided no service for them.
