Set right in the heart of Fort Kochi on Princess Street, this semi-luxury heritage hotel has an old-world feel and lovely staff hospitality. Leafy lanes, quaint architecture, lively markets, and groovy art cafes surround it.

The main tourist spots are within walking distance, but the place is only fairly okay. The Standard Heritage Rooms are tiny, around 9x7 feet, with an attached bathroom. Breakfast is minimal: one omelette, bread, and tea or coffee. Anything extra costs more. The waiters barely understand English.

We spent 5 days here in a nice, large, clean room. Everyone was very kind and helpful, and the Indian breakfast was delicious. We look forward to coming back soon. The photo is of our breakfast cook, who made the best iddlis.

The hotel is well maintained and has around 10 rooms, with AC rooms from 1k onwards. There's a cafe too, and the place feels very classy. You won't find a safe parking option. The road is in the heart of fort kochi, with boutique shops all around. Make sure to stay around here!

There were tons of mosquitos in the room, and there was no way to keep them out. Service was moderately slow, and even getting the hot water working wasn't easy. I don't understand the reviews saying the pricing is good. It didn't feel worth what we paid. They have a lot to learn, or need to change their pricing.
