I was sent here by the guys at the fish shop across the way, and it's very close to Vasco-da-Gama square. I bought prawns, scampi, squid, and fish, and they charged 600 to clean and cook it how I asked. The fried and grilled fish were fantastic. I came for lunch, then returned for dinner with more fresh prawns and fish. Their fish curry was so tasty and fantastic.

The room windows had torn mosquito netting, so there were a lot of mosquitoes inside and we were uncomfortable all night. General maintenance isn't great. Apart from that, it's not too bad a place to stay.

The location is great, and the exterior is beautiful and well built, but the rooms are below average and the place isn't well maintained. Our first room smelled like a dead rat, so we changed rooms. The other one was okay. There's only one person doing everything.

A nice, cozy place for a night or a few days. It's well placed behind the old harbour hotel, and there are plenty of options nearby for eating or shopping at a general store.

Clean rooms, friendly people, and good value for the money. Ask and you might get a room with an attached balcony. Definitely not a waste of money, and I'd recommend it to others.
