I stayed here with my family and regret choosing it. Cleanliness, a basic expectation even at a low budget stay, was missing. The bathroom smelled, the flush initially didn't work, and staff told me to learn how to use it. The AC barely cooled even after running all night. When I complained, they said that was all I could expect there and suggested I didn't know how AC worked. I have AC at home and can tell the difference between warm and cool. The staff were arrogant and defensive, with no empathy or customer service. They argued that the place was top class, though the room felt filthy. Please check the room before booking unless you're visiting the temple and don't mind the conditions. Cameras were watching constantly, which made us feel intruded upon, as if we were in prison. They charge for an extra mattress and take the money before bringing it. Having brick walls doesn't make a place the best. Both staff members came into the room to assess the AC's coolness while my family was there. It was a traumatic, horrible experience. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision.

I stayed at Olive Homes Residency for three nights, from 24th Jan 2026 to 27th Jan 2026. I've been a loyal guest for over 10 years, through several management changes, so it's disheartening to see standards fall so badly under the current administration. Basic housekeeping was neglected. Daily room cleaning, fresh towels, and replenished toiletries are standard expectations, but these were not provided, making the stay less comfortable. When I tried to raise the issues, management was dismissive and arrogant, with little apparent willingness to listen or take responsibility. After a decade of returning, it felt upsetting to be met with such unprofessionalism instead of appreciation.

I was really comfortable staying at olive homes, and the experience was amazing. The bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen were all so neat and clean. Definitely five stars.

I came to kodungallur with 30 family members for my engagement. The room arrangements and service were all excellent. If you're looking for rooms with a budget friendly price, good service, and facilities, you can approach them.

The rooms are good, and it's a nice place for lodging. They don't provide food.
