Vedic Village Retreat

The food really stood out. We enjoyed every dish, especially the Malabar Biryani, Seer Fish Fry, Appam, and Veg Stew. Vedic Village Resort was calm and quiet, with friendly staff who made our stay comfortable. We also liked walking around the island outside the property, which felt safe and serene. The road leading to the property is quite narrow, so I’d recommend arranging a cab or having an experienced driver. We tried the massage services too. They were decent, but only okay compared with the high standard of everything else. It’s a highly recommended spot for a relaxing break.

The ambience was lovely, and it’s a well-maintained property with a nice room. The service staff were very helpful. Food service could be quicker, and a small play area for kids would be a good addition.

The food was delicious, our room was clean and comfortable, and lush greenery surrounds the beautifully kept property. We had a wonderful stay at Vedic Village. One thing that would improve it for families is clearly marked smoking areas. We saw some guests smoking in public spaces, which was uncomfortable with children around. Addressing that would make the service excellent.

We booked the lake view villa for one night, and the view from the room was beautiful. It was clean, spacious, and very well maintained. The gardens were lovely too and gave the place a calm, relaxing feel. Everyone was friendly and attentive, from the front desk to housekeeping and the restaurant team. The food was delicious, and the staff even offered to look after our 5 month old baby so we could enjoy our meal in peace. That was really thoughtful.
