Sunbird Garden Resort

We stayed with family on 1 May 2026, and the room was very dirty, bedsheets included. The door wouldn't lock properly, which made us feel unsafe. Then from around 2 PM on 2 May until about 7 AM the following day, there was no electricity. We told the staff, but it wasn't sorted out promptly, so almost a full day of our paid stay was lost. Poor service and maintenance. I wouldn't recommend this resort.

The staff were so welcoming and always willing to help whenever I had a question or an issue. I also really enjoyed the freshly cooked food. It was a peaceful, relaxing place surrounded by beautiful nature, and my room was clean with a very comfortable bed. A lovely place to stay.

We planned to stay a couple of days, but checked out on the first day because of the conditions. The rooms and bedsheets were dirty, the pool wasn't clean, and there were frogs and insects everywhere. The doors didn't have proper locks, either. There was no power from 2 AM, leaving us in total darkness with infants, and nobody responsible was available to help. We lost a whole day and found the customer service very poor.

We came as a group of around 12, with kids, and found the place good for families. There are separate pools for children and adults, plus zip lining, boating, and a nightly fire camp. We got the place at a very cheap rate, with breakfast and dinner included as a compliment. After visiting, I liked it so much I recommended it to around 10 people. The couple of rooms beside the pool have a different vibe when you step out early in the morning.
