I booked through MakeMyTrip because the listing made the room look premium, but walking in was a huge disappointment. The walls were in terrible shape and the paint was peeling. There wasn’t even a mirror. Food wasn’t available, and there was no soap or body wash until I asked for it. The photos really showed the best of the place, so don’t trust them. The worst part was the bathroom drainage. There’s no partition or barrier, and when you shower, all the water runs into the bedroom. The area is fully Muslim. The room was cheap, and it’s couple-friendly, so it might work if you only need a few hours on a very low budget. But if you’re thinking of staying for a day or two, don’t go. My ratings out of five: room quality 2, cleanliness 2, gadgets 4, hospitality 3, location 3, food none, bathroom 1, price 4 for being budget-friendly, and staff behaviour 4.

Everything was good. The owner and manager, md shabbir, was very helpful. The hotel staff were friendly and quick to respond, always ready to help.

For shopping, the location is great, and the room was clean and well lit. It had A/C and a geyser. Finding it was a little confusing, though: Google Maps puts the marker in the middle of the road, but the hotel is opposite the Kitab khana book store, at the start of a gully. My room was very small, with a window about 0.5ft by 1ft. They have larger rooms at a higher price. There was no table or chair for working, and street noise made it hard to sleep. The walls are thin too, so I could hear the person next door talking or slamming the door. A few times at night the room suddenly shook. I’m not sure if heavy vehicles or a generator caused it.

The staff were good, and the room and bathroom were clean. The A/C worked perfectly. Only issue: they don’t provide plates for food. Please add plates.

The room interior was good, and I had a good stay all around. The staff were really nice, and manager md Shabbir was helpful and behaved well.
