The pictures are misleading, and I don’t get why the workers sing so loudly in the corridor. Apart from that, everything is decent. The location is really good, and that’s the main thing going for it. Don’t expect much beyond that.

It’s hard to rest here because the receptionist sings loudly and plays music late into the night, sometimes until 1 or 2 AM, and again early in the morning. Please ask him to keep it down. Also, the bed sheets weren’t always changed when we checked in, so please make sure they are replaced.

The hotel was nothing like the photos I saw on the Fab Hotel site, and it was hard to find in the first place. I had booked three days because I was due to arrive on the second morning, but when I got there at 6 AM, the receptionist wanted an extra payment even though I’d already paid for the full booking. Breakfast was included, but all I got was three puris and aloo curry. The room was a complete mess. Worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Kolkata.

The location was good, but the room was awful. The pillows were dirty, the windows had no locks, and the bathroom was dirty too.

The washroom was filthy, and the room itself wasn’t clean either. They gave me a very small room, there weren’t enough staff, and room service wasn’t available. Poor all around.
