We came back after a few years and found small cockroaches in the rooms. The manager was the most pathetic I've ever dealt with. Outside food isn't allowed, yet they refuse food requests too, saying the menu is only for emergencies and can't be prepared to suit customers. Consider a better hotel or an Airbnb where at least you could cook if the service isn't available.
6/10
The building is old, there's no lift, and the room cleanliness fell short of what I expected. The rent is high for what you get, though the service was okay.
2/10
The manager's behavior was the worst, though the staff were okay. I booked through Agoda for around 900 rupees, but at check-in the front desk manager claimed they had no tie-up with Agoda and charged me a "discounted rate" of 1800 rupees. The room had broken walls, lamps, switches, and other things. At that price, try 'Kzar corporate hotel'. Please don't go here.

It's in a prime part of Kolkata, near Medical College Gate 6, which makes it convenient for parents staying close to their child. The rates were good, the room had all the facilities, and the food was awesome. I had a great experience with my family.
8/10
The rooms aren't furnished in a modern style, but they were clean. The location is excellent, the staff are polite and helpful, and the food is good. I stayed for just one day and felt they could charge less. Still, I'd recommend it for a short visit, including with family.
