The food made our stay especially enjoyable. Hotel Emerald’s own arrangements were available, but the meals at Presidency Inn, directly opposite and under the same management, were excellent in taste, quality, and service. We stayed at Hotel Emerald from 29th November to 30th November. The hotel hosted the JBG Elite Athletes, including many event winners, which says a lot about its quality and reliability. Right in central Kolkata, it’s a short walk from Park Street Metro Station, so getting around was easy. The reception is large and welcoming, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. A great choice for quality, convenience, and comfort in Kolkata. Highly recommended.

The food at Presidency Inn, right across the road and owned by the same people, was delicious. Hotel Emerald had comfortable rooms and a large, welcoming reception, and it's very close to Park Street Metro in the heart of Kolkata. We stayed from 29-30 November, and JBG Elite athletes and winners were hosted there too. Clean and convenient, and highly recommended.

Near New Market, so the location is the only good thing. The rooms are very dirty, and the washroom is extremely filthy, as the photos show. Handles in the washroom are broken, there’s lots of dirt where the curtains are, and the AC doesn’t work properly. The service is bad too. Apart from the location, it’s a very bad hotel.

It’s a very bad hotel. They charged us more for food, even though it costs the same. There’s no restaurant of their own, just a restaurant across the street that they order from and bring the food over.

Poor service. They ask for a 5% fee for UPI payment, even when it isn’t from a credit card.
