The location is the only thing in its favor. I called after booking to let them know I was coming, but the room was still dirty, with stained sheets and dust on the floor. It seemed like it had been cleaned a long time ago and left that way. At 10:30, the caretaker was already impatient about checkout at 11, even though the hotel was empty. I've stayed in better places with regular guest traffic, and they weren't this pushy about checkout.

The front desk guy ruined my stay, and even though I was there for five days, the room never got proper servicing. It was overpriced, the rooms weren't clean, and maintenance was basically zero. The bedsheets looked like they hadn't been changed in ages and gave me rashes. My original booking was shifted here from "OYO Deshpriya Park". The other hotel had accepted my paid booking and the OYO price when I called to check, but moved it anyway, just two hours before check-in. That was stupid of them.

The rooms smell bad and are unclean, and the service is terrible. The employees are unprofessional and have no idea how to speak to guests. I won't come back.

A decent budget hotel near golpark, Ballygange, about five minutes from Ballygunge junction station. You can shop in gariahat or grab fast food while staying here. There are also several good restaurants close by, including aminia, koshe kosa, and tandoor house.

The food options nearby were handy, with inexpensive street food that seemed hygienic and tea stalls close by. Buses are available from Gariahat More and golpark too. The rooms had great facilities, and both couples and families could stay comfortably.
