I stayed here in February and had a terrible time. There was no sense of safety, and staff kept banging on the door in the middle of the night. The rooms and linens were dirty, the bathroom was filthy, and the mugs and bucket were unclean. No geyser, calling bell, or intercom either. Staff were extremely rude. Checkout was enforced so strictly that being 15 minutes late could mean paying for another day. It costs far too much for the area. I'd sooner sleep at the railway station than stay here.

The rooms were very clean, and the bathrooms were too. The view from the room was nice, and the food was tasty and wholesome.

The rates were reasonable, and Hotel Sree Durga was easy to get to. My room was comfortable, clean, and well cared for. I did find bed bugs at first, but the staff responded helpfully and fixed the problem quickly, so I was comfortable for the rest of my stay.

I only stayed one night before getting out of there. Bed bugs gave me huge, swollen bites all over, even with the big fan running. The place was dirty inside and out, with an open sewer, litter, and a garbage facility nearby, surrounded by poverty. The bathroom had black mold across the sink and walls, and the door was completely damaged. Nobody deserves such a traumatic stay, whatever their circumstances or what they paid.
