Karunamoyee Guest House by OYO Rooms

The room was really dirty, the staff were rude, and they didn't provide breakfast. I booked three nights for 2,700 rupees, but at check-in I had to pay them 9,500 rupees. My mother was ill, so I felt I had no choice. They did the same thing to everybody, from what I saw. They're not even worth one star. This was a terrible experience, and I wouldn't go there.

There wasn't even a bathroom door, just a curtain. I wound up paying more than double the OYO booking price to stay there, after already paying the amount shown online. The hotel and its employees seemed to be working together on this, and it was a miserable experience. I wouldn't recommend the place at all. OYO should take action against the hotel for duping people.

The bathroom was cramped, had no hanger, and the basin tap didn't work. The AC also wasn't working right. When we complained, we were told that's just how that AC works. On top of that, our booking had been made a month ahead through OYO, but they said they had issues with OYO and wouldn't accept it. After a lot of negotiating, we booked a room offline.

At check-in they asked for extra money, saying the amount on the app was only for booking. They said they weren't taking online reservations and that we should have booked directly. I'd used the OYO app to book, so this was a horrible experience. The staff and owner behaved badly too.
