OYO 22042 Executive Guest House

It’s a quiet, remote place, which is nice if that’s what you’re looking for. The room was good, the AC worked, and the service was good too. The intercom phone was out of order, though, and the hotel is far from New Town. There’s no kitchen or restaurant, and they don’t help arrange food, so you have to order through Swiggy or Zomato since there’s nothing nearby except vacant land. Mobile signal kept fluctuating, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. Breakfast was repetitive and limited to bread and butter or a bread omelet.

The staff were rude and arrogant, and asked me to pay in full before showing me the room or completing check-in. Once I got into the room, the TV and other things weren’t working. A very bad stay. The staff need to learn some basic manners.

Food was available late at night, and they listened to my concerns. Breakfast was nothing special, though. It’s no longer an OYO, so don’t pay in advance, and be ready for another 100-200 in charges.

This was my first time getting service like this at an OYO hotel. The rules say an 11 a.m. check-in shouldn’t cost extra, but reception charged me anyway and gave no bill. They don’t follow OYO’s rules.
