OYO 73460 The Rest

There’s no AC, and the room was very distrust. Getting luggage up to the hotel on the first floor was a nightmare since there’s no elevator. They also didn’t honor the app price. Staff seemed to pretend they couldn’t speak Hindi or English. It’s a scam and a disaster of a hotel. Don’t waste your time, and booking apps shouldn’t recommend it because it reflects badly on their service.

The room I saw was in very poor shape, more like some third-rate guest house than an OYO room that keeps to its usual standards. The booking issue seems to work like this: you arrive after booking through OYO and the manager says there’s no room. You complain to OYO customer care, but they say sorry, they understand, and there’s still no room, then offer a refund. With no other choice, you accept. After you cancel, the managers suddenly say they do have rooms and you can book directly. That’s the kind of problem you can expect here. I’d give a negative rating if I could. Worst hotel I’ve ever experienced. Don’t go, you’ll have problems and a bad experience.

I had booked this place because I had an early flight from Kolkata airport, but as soon as I arrived I found everything awful, from the location to the hotel and the rooms. The rooms were unhygienic and pathetic, and didn’t meet even the basic requirements for a hotel stay, so I left. This is the worst property I’ve visited. Please don’t book it, even if it’s free.

After checking in, I left a few hours later. The place was simply pathetic, like a shabby 200/- lodge with 8*8 rooms. If you book through OYO, they may deny check-in and pressure you to pay double. I don’t understand how it’s registered with OYO. Avoid it, it’s a SCAM.
