OYO 77388 Golden Imperial

I paid 2800 per night for a tiny, dirty room with poor service and extremely bad treatment. If you book offline, they seem to charge whatever they want. They said they don’t accept any kind of online payment and wouldn’t issue an invoice because they don’t make GST invoices. I explained I was there for office work and needed one so my office could reimburse me, but they rudely refused and argued with me. I think they may be doing some IT scam. A very bad experience. Don’t go there and save your money.

The rooms and sheets were really dirty, and the staff wouldn’t do anything to change that. The manager, Mr. Kaushik, was very rude and demanded an extra Rs.1000 at check-in even though I’d already paid online through Oyo. The service couldn’t have been worse. Don’t make the mistake of staying here.

The staff tried to help, but there wasn’t much they could offer. My room was wet near the door, and the sheets and pillows were dirty. There was no soap or hand wash, and when I asked for a towel, I got a damaged one. I’d urge OYO to look into this, because the stay really hurts its reputation. I’d never return to Hotel Golden Imperial or recommend it. I wish I could forget that I ever stayed at this OYO property.

The OYO price was 1300, but the hotel asked me for 1600. I called OYO and nobody answered. This is the second time I’ve had this kind of experience. The way they operate feels very unethical.
