I had a disappointing stay at Hotel Air View. The bathroom was connected to the neighboring room’s bathroom, which raised serious privacy concerns. The property felt old and poorly maintained, there was no proper air ventilation, and my door lock did not work properly, so I didn’t feel safe. My room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the geyser was broken, and mosquitoes were a big problem. There were frequent power cuts in the area, and the hotel’s own food was very expensive. The location is convenient, about 1.5 km from Kolkata Airport, and outside food deliveries through Zomato and Swiggy are allowed. For a similar price, I’d choose Hotel Recline just opposite, where I also spent a night and had a much better room and service. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

My experience was poor. The washrooms were in miserable condition, and although I was charged for an AC room, the air conditioning barely worked. A cup of tea cost 30/-.

My wife was able to stay here without stress, which made the hotel feel very safe for women. I was impressed by how kind and well behaved the manager and staff were, and by how gently and helpfully they treated us.

At Air View Hotel, the rooms were clean and service was quick. The staff were professional and helpful, and **Bikas Maity** was especially polite and supportive. The hospitality was top-class, and I’d highly recommend it. A perfect 5-star stay!

The rooms and service were great ❤️. Getting around was the problem: the hotel is far from dumdum station, and there wasn’t local transport on vip road. Ola and Uber were the only options I could find there.
