Aishwarya at reception deserves a special mention for her warm, professional hospitality. The hotel is well maintained and in a prime location, and I had a pleasant stay.

The bathroom was in very bad shape, with a broken glass door. Rooms were available, but reception staff made me wait until 1 o'clock because of my Cleartrip booking. I understand that may be the rule, but if a room is available, they should let the guest check in. The reception support was very poor. I won't book here again.

I spent seven days in the corporate accommodation, and it was a horrible experience. The food was tasteless, unhygienic, and barely edible. Staff were rude and arrogant, with no sense of hospitality, and even after repeated requests acted as if letting us stay was a huge favor. Room cleaning meant little more than straightening the bed. They didn't change the sheets or blankets, and skipped basic sweeping and mopping. The service was pathetic, an absolute nightmare.

I've checked into many hotels in Kolkata and other cities for work, and this was the worst hospitality I've seen in Kolkata. One night I asked for rice and was told they'd already served enough and couldn't give me more. The food tasted like street food. There was a bad smell from the lift, and the staff were extremely rude and arrogant.
