OYO Flagship 65121 Hotel Maharaja

Security was good, room service was decent, and the location was easy to find. The bus stand is only about 100 metres away, making it easy to get around. It’s a good budget option for one person or a family, and the service was good, but the staff weren’t very cordial. They knocked on the door asking for advance payment, and gave us no extra time after the 12 PM checkout. The AC was directly controlled, with only on and off and no temperature adjustment.

The staff were quite courteous, and the room service stood out. It also seemed probably safe for a woman staying alone. The building and amenities such as CCTV were just okay, and I don’t think the location is an advantage.

The surroundings are convenient, with lots of shops and restaurants and two bars nearby. The airport is about 10 minutes by car, and New Market about 30 minutes. Staff were helpful and behaved well, and some rooms have a table and chair. The fan and bed were okay, the TV all right, and the rooms are soundproof. Still, I wasn’t satisfied with the hotel. The sheets and pillow covers were a bit dirty, the rooms weren’t good, and the bathroom was awful. The commode, basin and geyser were worn and dirty, and the washrooms were cramped. The AC had no temperature or swing control, only direct on and off. Mosquitoes were a problem, the wardrobe wasn’t good, the corridor was narrow, and the old lift didn’t fully work. Wi-Fi was very bad and switched off after midnight Indian time. It mainly seemed to be an old house turned into a hotel for couples.

A really bad stay. The rooms were only okay, the bed was uncomfortable, and the surroundings felt unhygienic. The bathrooms were so small you could barely fit. Service was very poor. Don’t order from the restaurant, the food was bad; better to order outside or eat street food. Worst hotel ever.
