OYO Flagship 70388 R A Homestay

I’ve never seen a worse hotel in Kolkata. When I booked through the OYO app, the manager checked the booking price and said they wouldn’t give me the room if it was below 500. They said the minimum price was 1000, otherwise I could go somewhere else.

I booked online through Goibibo, but they refused to check me in because the rate didn’t match their offline price. The staff were rude and didn’t know how to speak to guests. They also wouldn’t talk to the Goibibo representatives, saying, “Who are they? You do as you wish.” Seeing so many similar complaints in the reviews made me wonder what Oyo and Goibibo are doing about this. Such a frustrating, horrifying experience. Negative stars from me. I’m never coming back.

We booked through OYO and still got charged 1000 rupees. It felt like we’d been cheated. The room they gave us was small, had no windows, and was very unhygienic, even though we expected an AC room with a TV. Such a bad experience, I wouldn’t recommend it.

I visited this homestay with my family, and they treated us poorly and lied to customers. It felt like a fraud. If you’re planning to stay here, change your plans.
