OYO Flagship 75235 Hotel Red Rose

I booked through the OYO app, where the rate was around ₹ 800/-. At the hotel, the receptionist refused to give me a room at that price and demanded at least ₹ 1200/- per day. When OYO customer care spoke to the receptionist, they repeated the same thing: I had to pay ₹ 1200/- or OYO had to pay the hotel ₹ 1200/-. After more than half an hour of discussion, OYO care asked me to go to a nearby hotel. Being left to sort that out at 11:00 pm was embarrassing. They don’t seem to care about their agreement with OYO, their reputation, or the guest’s situation; they just want extra money on top of the booking, which is basically a changed form of corruption. I don’t understand why OYO keeps arrangements with unreliable hotels that don’t follow even the basic charter, or why no appropriate action is taken when the public is being fooled. They’re openly cheating people, totally unprofessional and without principles.

There were only two people in the whole hotel, and room service was poor. The rooms were reasonably sized, but messy and not clean at all. The washrooms had a foul smell and the bedsheets had holes. The size was okay, but this is nowhere near a luxury place to stay.

The receptionist wanted 1200 rs for a non AC room, though the OYO app listed it at 700. I was asked to pay extra. When I called OYO customer care, the woman refused to speak to them and cut the hotel phone line so they couldn’t call. The woman at reception was arrogant and rude, and didn’t know how to talk to people. I was there with my family and she misbehaved with us.

The staff were very good, and the hotel was very good too.
