Hotel Gokul

The owner even took me safely back to Kota Junction when my train came earlier than expected. As a solo female traveller, that meant a lot. I’d been nervous about arriving in Kota at midnight and staying alone, but from my first call before arrival through checkout, I felt safe and comfortable. The owner was kind, guided me from the railway station, and made check-in easy. Hotel Gokul is near Kota Junction railway station, and I’d recommend it if you need a safe, comfortable, trustworthy place nearby.

The rooms and washroom were clean, and I was satisfied with the service. I asked Uncle for an extra blanket, and he brought me a good one very humbly. He treats you like a family member, and it’s a good place to stay.

For the price we paid, the quality was excellent. The room was comfortable, with a good bed, and check-in was quick even though we arrived well after midnight. The proprietor lives at the property and got up to let us in and show us to our rooms. It was neat and clean, though we did notice a few mosquitoes. The station is very close. I gave it three stars, but that doesn’t mean I think it’s a bad place.

It’s only about 300 metres from the railway station, and the price is very economical. The hotel provides the essentials, which made our stay easy and smooth. It’s clean and works for a solo guest or a family. Uncle, the owner, is very cooperative. I’d suggest staying here.
