The washroom felt like a steam room, and the room itself wasn’t clean. Staff didn’t seem very responsible, so I felt I had to handle everything myself. They should take more ownership and be fluent in their communication. The hotel needs improvement, especially staff training.

There was just a bed and an AC that didn’t work, with little else in the room. What you get is very different from the pictures, which seem to show another hotel entirely. They may give you a ₹200-₹300 room. This feels like a poor lodge, not a hotel. Please don’t book here, or you’ll regret it.

The rooms were extremely dirty, and the service was awful. The staff were rude, too. Even basic things like water from the taps weren’t available, so don’t expect much else. This was my worst experience with Oyo hotels.

Everything else was fine, but breakfast was a problem. I had to call reception to ask for it, and even then they weren’t sure they could provide it. In the end, all I got was chai. Management could do a bit better.

Sorabh at Kings palace was helpful and behaved nicely, and he gave me a comfortable price. The receptionist was friendly, and the room was clean and good. I did have one odd issue: there was no stopper in the bathroom, and gaps in the glass on the wall meant someone on the outside balcony could see in. I managed, and everything else was good.
