The valley and sunrise views from our spacious, clean room were lovely. It was such a calm break from city life, with misty mountains, greenery, birdsong, and cool air all around. The staff were kind and helpful from the moment we arrived, and the food was delicious. I’d happily return to this peaceful resort near Kotagiri.
We spent three days and two nights here, and were happy just staying on the property. It’s tucked into nature, with peacocks and other birds to wake up to. Dinner took a while since the staff seem fairly new, but they were very helpful. For a Kotagiri stay, I’d book this place without hesitation.
Chef Ramesh’s meals were a real highlight, all delicious and carefully prepared. Pratap welcomed us warmly and professionally, and Amila, Girija, and Monisha were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We felt looked after throughout our stay, and the team made the resort memorable. Five stars from us, and we’d love to come back.
Ibex Kotagiri sits in a peaceful natural setting, a welcome break from everyday noise and a lovely place for families to spend time together. Mr. Vasanth prepared fresh, flavorful food. The staff took care of the details, and Mr. Prathap and Mr. Ragul were especially hospitable. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.
We had delicious dinners and breakfasts, thanks in large part to Chef Ramesh, who was friendly, helpful, and happy to cook to guests’ needs. Our sheets were clean and the towels fresh. The bedrooms are spacious and airy, with sofa beds and bathrooms equipped with geysers and showers. The house is set among tea plantations, where the quiet is broken mainly by birds and wind through the trees. A peaceful, refreshing stay.
