Hotel Ceasar Palace

The room may look fine, but my stay was deeply disappointing. We had breakfast included, and I woke at 10:00 AM, half an hour before it was meant to end. I asked for it through room service and was flatly told breakfast isn't served in rooms, so I missed it altogether. Then the water stopped while I was bathing. When it came back, it sprayed unevenly and looked dirty, almost like wastewater. That's a serious hygiene concern and points to poor maintenance. The service and management were very poor, and I wouldn't recommend the place.

We spent only about five hours at Hotel Ceasar Palace, but it was one of our worst experiences. The receptionist seemed unable to deal with guests, and calls to reception were irritating instead of helpful. Staff were rude and made us feel as though guests didn't matter. The General Manager was especially arrogant and even pushed us while we were trying to talk with him. Completely unacceptable behavior. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, the service felt very unprofessional.

The Mark antony premium bar annexe still seems to keep its quality and standards. The rest of the place has been a letdown, especially the bartending staff, who come across as immature and unprofessional and have hurt the service and atmosphere. That's sad because this place holds so many golden memories, and its hospitality used to bring us back. Management still appears well organized, and I hope they take this feedback seriously and restore the old charm.

I've stayed here before and would likely choose it again when I visit Kottayam. It's an easy walk to the town center, with plenty of parking, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Our room was neat, the linen was clean, housekeeping was excellent, and the included breakfast was adequate.
