Hotel Indraprastha

We came for a family dinner expecting a relaxed evening, but the way the staff treated us made the whole meal awkward. They stared at us in a way that felt uncomfortable and suspicious, as if we didn't belong. Staff were cold and rude throughout, with no basic courtesy or respect. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for decent hospitality.

The rooms are big and decent, the amenities are adequate, and the staff are friendly overall. It's near the railway station. One thing to check before adding breakfast: ask whether it's à la carte. If so, I wouldn't bother. The service was awful, though I don't blame the restaurant staff themselves. Management has them taking orders, fetching food from the kitchen, and clearing plates, and the food wasn't tasty either. I gave the same feedback to reception and hope management takes note.

On 32/01/2026, right at peak lunch time, we waited half an hour with our 8-month-old baby for our order. The restaurant was empty, yet only then did staff tell us the Biryani was finished. They should have said so when we ordered. No responsible manager came to address our concern, and we had to leave without lunch. A complete waste of time.

The staff were friendly, but the food was below average and the rooms weren't properly maintained. I stayed here about six years ago, when it was a decent hotel. Now it seems run down, with hardly any guests.
