Dragon Residency

The food was one of the best parts of my stay. Meals felt fresh and home cooked, from morning butter tea to lunch thukpa and evening momos. They can adjust the spice and prepare Jain or Satvik food if asked. At 11,000 feet, when your appetite can be low, that was a real help. The team made the stay special. Staff were genuinely warm and attentive, and the owner personally checked whether I needed anything. They helped with oxygen cans and itinerary tips, which mattered at this altitude. The room was spotless, heated and cozy, with hot water all day, tasteful decor, blackout curtains and quiet nights. It was a comfortable surprise for Leh. Prices felt very affordable for the rooms, food and service. The location is central enough for Leh market and Shanti Stupa, yet away from the noise, with airport pick-up and drop-off also easy. Staying at Hotel Dragon Residency was a highlight of my Ladakh trip. The owner and team treated me like family, and I’d gladly return.
