The location was convenient, and the comfortable, clean rooms made for a positive stay at The Mogol Hotel. The owner was always on hand to help, which made a real difference. Service was exceptional.

The staff were courteous and helpful, and the hotel had all the basic facilities. We had a comfortable stay and found it a nice place to stay.

We visited in the third week of July, when the weather around Leh was cool and pleasant. The rooms were neat and clean, and room service was nice. They supplied a kettle for hot water, though tea or coffee, milk, and sugar sachets would have been useful to make a drink ourselves. The restaurant was clean too, and Miss Stanzin’s service was exceptional. Food takes a long time because they prepare it from scratch and don’t have ready-made dishes, so it’s better to call in an order at least 20 minutes ahead.
