Hotel Maharani

I don't want to name anyone or share the details of my bad experience right now, but I do want to speak with the property owner as soon as possible. The place is in the heart of the city and has so much going for it, yet some employees are damaging the business through their attitude and lack of commitment. It seems staff may not be trained, or operations may not be getting enough attention. I tried to get the owner's number, but it wasn't provided. If the owners are willing to look into this, please reply to my review. Thank you.

This happened a few years ago. I was returning from an academic conference when I developed a high fever and wasn't fit to travel. I asked for a room, showed my ID proofs, and gave my phone number, but they refused me just because I was a woman. They rudely told me to leave and threatened to contact my parents and say rubbish about me. I had to call relatives to help me get home, then wait for hours by the main road in the evening. A pathetic experience, especially with the person at the front desk. Sick psychos.

The manager was helpful and had a positive attitude, and the rooms are big. I enjoyed the unique pot biryani made with long biryani rice. The fish fry and beef dry fry were yummy too. Best hotel in the heart of pala town. Keep it up, hotel maharani. Thank you, and see you soon.
