Oxel town house

Maybe the photos make the property look better. In person it was okay, but the owner's attitude and behavior were really bad, and they seemed very greedy about money. I don't know how many reviews here are genuine, but the place gave me a bad feeling.

We stayed for a weekend reunion with friends and had everything we needed. The host and caretaker were lovely and went out of their way to make it memorable. Prashila, the cook recommended by the host, made delicious food. The interiors were tastefully done and well maintained. Five out of five for every aspect, and we'll definitely return!

The property itself is beautiful, but our group of 12 colleagues felt uncomfortable throughout. We'd paid close to a lakh, yet felt more like intruders than guests. I had told the owner in advance that our October 2024 offsite at Oxel House was for brainstorming and designing our next tech product, not a party or social gathering. Still, the welcome was cold. During a brief 10-12 minute balcony discussion with someone who stopped by to hand over documents and check on our progress, the house lady was notified and reacted as if we were hosting a crowd or subletting, though we were doing neither. It may suit some groups, but we didn't get the warmth or professionalism we hoped for.

The service from the staff at Villa oxel house was first class, and Gurunbhai deserves a thank you for taking such good care of us. This was honestly one of our best holidays so far. The villa made it even more special. I'd definitely recommend it.
