Hawah Beach Resort

At Hawa Beach Resort, Kovalam, the AC didn’t work and no alternative room was offered. The bedsheets and towels were filthy, as if they hadn’t been washed in ages, and the reception staff were rude and arrogant. There was no sense of hospitality. We booked through MakeMyTrip, which clearly listed an extra bed, but they denied it until we argued and showed proof. After 10 PM nobody was around to help, and we were left on our own. They provided just one water bottle for the entire stay. This was the worst experience ever. The cleanliness and service were horrible, and the staff were unprofessional. The place feels like a scam disguised as a resort. Don’t waste your money here, stay away at all costs!

The location is good, but I’m giving it 1 star because of the massage center on the ground floor. They weren’t professional and caused pain in my shoulder. I’m going to hospital now. Don’t make the same mistake of going there.

The room smelled foul and the floors were sticky. We had booked two nights, but couldn’t tolerate the conditions and left after the first. We’d paid for an extra bed, yet the staff initially denied it and we had to argue to get it. Once it arrived, they wouldn’t provide a blanket, so we had to make do with a single bedsheet to cover ourselves. I strongly advise against booking here.

We checked out after just a few hours, though a travel agency had booked the hotel for us. The rooms were awful, smelly, full of leakage, and the bathrooms were as dirty as possible. The staff denied any kind of service. The receptionist was extremely rude and misbehaved, and the manager wasn’t there. Nothing was good here. Actually, nothing. Stay away from this hawah beach resort in Kovalam.
