Linchu Ayur Resort

The property is under construction and maintenance, and doesn’t feel ready for tourists, though they’re still inviting guests with discounts. It isn’t properly maintained, and the pool is an old facility, though it was okay. There were bed bugs and mosquitoes in the bedroom, with gaps in the doors and windows. Local youngsters were using the pool and roaming around, and staffing was inadequate. I wouldn’t recommend it for families.

The hotel is just 15 steps from Kovalam beach, with a nice pool open from 10 am to 6 pm. The rooms are good and have private balconies, and there’s an on-site massage parlor. It’s good value, but the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant.

We had a great time here, and the atmosphere was lovely. There isn't a restaurant at the resort, but they can arrange meals for guests. The room fittings could use some improvement.

We booked three rooms, and every one smelled musty, as if it hadn't been used in a while. The sheets were very old and torn, and the rooms were so filthy that we didn't feel comfortable getting into bed or using the toilets. We entered the property and left again shortly after. Even though we lost half the booking price, we still chose to go because the place felt like it could be a health hazard.
