The room matched the pictures, and the bathroom was up to standard with toiletries provided. They also supplied a turkey and essential tea and coffee powders. My only issue was the curtains: they couldn’t be adjusted, leaving a small part of the window uncovered. We were a couple traveling for an exam and stayed at Medora hotel, in what I think was a deluxe room. The room and hotel were as expected for the price, it was clean and tidy, and the hospitality was amazing. We had a great stay and would choose Medora again for future trips, and recommend it to anyone needing a place. Thanks for the good service, looking forward to coming back.

The first room they gave me was bad, so I asked to move and they shifted me right away. The second room had the same issue, though: its bathroom was old and smelled unpleasant. The room floors and bathrooms need renovation. The hotel is in the city center and has all amenities at an affordable rate. Breakfast is available, which is helpful, but the old floors and bathroom condition let it down.

I booked a room nearly a month ahead and confirmed it again two days before check-in. Then, one day before I was due to arrive, the hotel abruptly called to cancel the booking, saying it was because of renovation work. A very bad experience.

The toilet was unclean, and the bed was in terrible shape. It was unstable, had completely lost its shape, and the old spring or foam was so worn out that it wasn’t fit to sleep on. I asked for another room at night, but they refused. I woke up with body pain the next morning. A very disappointing stay at Hotel Medora. I’d rate it 0/10.

Being close to the railway station is handy, and there are restaurants and a movie theatre nearby too. One of the best hotels in Calicut, with a really good location. 🤍
